This jacket's fabric reminds me of something that would be seen in India, it was actually purchased from a vintage store called Yesterdaze. The jeans are skinny legging jeans, with black wedges from DSW, & ruffle top from Urban Outfitters.

This is my take on a vintage inspired look.
The headpiece is actually from forever 21, the gray jacket is from UrbanOutfitters, the black dress is from American Apparel, the the shoes are from Bebe, as is the belt, but from a few years ago, fishnet thigh highs are over sheer tights.

Zuhair Murad

is a Beirut-based Lebanese fashion designer
His lavish creations, in sensational colors and extraordinary fabrics, are reminiscent of Egyptian princesses, Grecian goddesses and pure, glorious splendor, complete with an edgy twist that modernizes his collections just enough.











His designs have been worn by Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, & many others.

Are extremely fashionable right now! You can find some at very expensive prices such as chanel, but there are cheaper options to be found at free people and lulus. Some options are the Steve Maddens or the Jeffery Campbells!

Isabel Toledo: Cuban

Toledo is a Cuban-born American designer, beloved in the fashion world but a relative unknown outside of it. She's been designing for 25 years and, except for a brief but celebrated tenure at Anne Klein, has been creating strictly on her own terms -- and always with her husband Ruben at her side. (Their partnership is the stuff of legend.)

Isabel credits her Cuban roots for her sense of style, "my culture taught me the beauty of the female form and the importance of clothing that flatters and enhances a woman's shape and allows her to move freely," and considers herself a seamstress above all. Her work was considered too avant-garde for the American mass market -- that is, of course, until Michelle Obama chose to wear her dress for the inaugural. Now everybody wants to know everything about her, and why not? She's glamorous, mysterious and an American original!

Rei Kawakubo: Japan

Comme des Garçons (her fashion house) specialises in anti-fashion, austere, sometimes deconstructed garments. During the 1980s, her garments were primarily in black, dark grey or white. The materials were often draped around the body and featured frayed, unfinished edges along with holes and a general asymmetrical shape. Challenging the established notions of beauty she created an uproar at her debut Paris fashion show where journalists labeled her clothes 'Hiroshima chic' amongst other things. Since the late 1980s her colour palette has grown somewhat.

Slava Zaitsev: Russia

Whilst Zaitsev regards fashion designers Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, Gianfranco Ferré and Hubert de Givenchy as idols, his own creations are strongly influenced by traditional Russian and Slavic styles, and his collections include a variety of theme-based shows reflecting his take on the industry at the time. In his creations, Zaitsev includes elements such as traditional Pavlovsky Posad shawls and embroidered quilted jackets. He remains loyal to his Russian heritage and asks other Russian designers to follow suit.

Ritu Kumar: India

From humble beginnings forty years ago Ritu became the first woman to introduce the ‘boutique’ culture in India under the brand name ‘Ritu’. Today she has outlets in all over the country, retailing under her traditional brand.

In 2002 Ritu Kumar, joined by her son Amrish, launched a sub brand – Ritu Kumar, LABEL. LABEL uses the established forte of traditional Indian design and converts it into a fashion oriented international product. This is aimed at the young, global Indian woman with a contemporary lifestyle. LABEL retails from most Ritu Kumar stores as well as some stand alone stores.


Her designs are current and modern but with a sprinkle of her culture added in for good measure.

I love Redken Shampoos and Conditions. I have used the extreme repair and right now I am using the real control. It really helps your split ends and makes your hair SUPER soft and shiny!
I recently started using BigSexyHair as well. This is an amazing shampoo for volume! I use this and it really helps lift my roots up and leaves your hair feeling really nice as well.

The Tricks to Amazing Hair:
DO NOT wash your hair every day! (washing every day gets your hair really dry, it needs its natural oils!)
Every time you wash your hair, switch up the product. (this shocks your hair so it does not build up a resistance to the same products)
Use a hair reparative treatment (once a week put in a treatment and lay a towel on a pillow and sleep with it in for the night)
For treatments I have used the Ojon Restorative Treatment. This is really an amazing treatment but it is very expensive!
SPECIAL NOTE: a great and cheap restorative treatment can be VITAMIN E MOISTURIZER! You can just buy it in a large jar and it makes your hair really, really soft!
For both of these, just rub the product in from roots to tips, really focusing on our ends.
